| David Denis grew up around food in Le Revest les Eaux, Provence, with both his grandmother and mother working in the restaurant business. He trained as a chef and worked at several award-winning restaurants before moving to the United States as a personal chef. He opened Le Mistral in Houston’s Energy Corridor in 2001, starting in a small strip center and later building an impressive new structure for dining, conferences, social events and retail.
