About the Author
After a short stint at the University of Houston earning a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing, Eva Freeburn found her home at Bright Sky Press as Publishing Assistant and then PR Director, and is currently livin’ the dream teaching reading skills and literacy as an elementary school teacher. When she’s not drinking coffee or spending time with her friends and family, Eva’s teaching her daughter how to be just as amazingly weird and loving as she is. Eva and her daughter live in Kingwood, Texas, with two mice, two frogs, a dog, and a bunch of crickets.
Lawson Gow is an entrepreneur, poet, and venture capitalist. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas and graduated from Rice University in 2013. Lawson is also the author of Silly Shoes: Poems to Make You Smile, a collection of silly poems for children. In 2015 he founded SillyBox, a Houston-based non-profit charity that delivers boxes of books, toys, and school supplies to children in foster care organizations. He and his wife, Lauren, live in Houston.
James Little grew up in Lumberton and Beaumont, TX, where he attended Lamar University. After receiving a BFA in Graphic Design, James went to Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) to study Sequential Art. Today he storyboards for animation.
